Di penghujung tahun 2015, Samsung mengeluarkan jajaran smartphone terbarunya dari seri A dengan slot sim dua kartu. Berbekal CPU Octa Core dengan kecepatan 1.6 GHz dan dukungan jaringan menggunakan 4G LTE siap bersaing dengan kompetitor smartphone lainnya. Ram yang cukup besar yaitu 3GB sangat lah cukup untuk melakukan multi tasking dalam pengoperasiannya. Dari sisi resolusi layar, sudah memakai full HD dengan kerapatan 401ppi.
