Samsung galaxy A8 diluncurkan tahun 2016 bulan september. Spesifikasi smartphone android ini sangat mumpuni dengan mengusung layar ciri khasi samsung yaitu super amoled, dilengkapi resolusi full hd yaitu 1080x1920 pixel dan tingkat kerapatan layar sebesar 386 ppi sangat memanjakan mata kita. Jaringan pun dibenamkan pada smartphone android ini dengan sangat lengkap yaitu adanya 4G LTE.
Ukuran layar sebesar 5,7 inch terhitung agak besar memang seperti halnya varian samsung lainnya dari seri note. Prosesor menggunakan yaitu Exynos 7420 Octa Core dan disandingkan dengan grafik prosesor Mali yang keduanya memang besutan samsung sendiri.
